Taking the ACT
MyACT User Guide ** Creating a MyACT account is how you can receive your scores directly from ACT digitally. Your Student Code will be issued and shared with you closer to the testing date.
Bus transportation will follow the regular schedule on testing day. Buses will run usual routes and bring students to school in the morning, and testing on each day will begin around 8:00 am and run until complete. While the ACT will run a bit longer for Juniors (until 12:00), the PreACT 9 and PreACT will be done before noon. Once testing is complete and students are dismissed from their classrooms, anyone that desires to leave or be picked up may do so. (Students will not need a parking pass to park in the student lots on ACT testing days.) Remaining students that need to wait on personal rides or buses will be allowed to access several common supervised areas. Additionally, in cooperation with Food Service, the Cafeteria will be open after testing is complete.
Please be aware that you may receive additional emails to assure that our greater community has awareness of the upcoming event prior to test days, as this is an adjustment in our normal school schedule. We appreciate everyone’s support and cooperation for the upcoming tests, and value the chance to celebrate our students’ knowledge through these testing events as well. Information from these testing events can provide students valuable data to help them navigate their post-high school plans.
