Kaneland DECA showcased their talents at this year’s Sectionals competition, demonstrating the true essence of what DECA stands for. Participating in DECA’s competitive events offers students invaluable, hands-on learning experiences that mirror current business practices. These events not only assess members' knowledge and skills but also provide them with the chance to engage with industry professionals and judges, enriching their understanding further.

By participating in DECA, students ensure they are ready for both college and careers upon graduating from high school. DECA focuses on a wide range of categories and events, presenting diverse opportunities in the four vital career clusters: marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, along with entrepreneurship and personal financial literacy.
